Tips
of the Week:
1)
Lip Care
Minty Lip Gloss
1 T. petroleum jelly
3 drops peppermint oil
Mix petroleum jelly and peppermint oil. Apply to lips as necessary
for minty-fresh lip gloss!
2)
Nail Care
Cuticle Softener
1 Bottle Vit E Oil
Run the vitamin E oil on the cuticles of both feet and hands after
a bath or shower daily and at bedtime.

Skin Care
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 T. sunflower oil
1 1/2 t. fresh lemon juice
Great for all skin types. Mix all ingredients together and place
in a sealed container. Store in the refrigerator. Use 1 t. morning
and night to cleanse face.

Mild Face Scrub
2 T. Oatmeal
2 T Cornmeal
2 T. Wheat Germ
Perfect for exfoliating normal to sensitive skin. Mix all ingredients
together in an airtight container. Make a paste by adding a splash
of warm water to one tablespoon of the mixture. Use once or twice
a week.

Serious Face Scrub
1 t sugar
juice of 1 lemon
Ideal for dry, flaky skin. While washing face with your regular
soap, add the sugar and scrub gently. Splash face with the lemon
juice and rinse with cool water. Do at least once a week.
6)
Astringent for Normal Skin
1/4 t borax powder
3 T distilled water
3 T rose water
1 T vodka
Dissolve the borax powder in the distilled water. Stir well. Add
the rose water and vodka. Bottle in a container with a tight lid
to prevent the alcohol from evaporating. Apply to clean face with
a cotton ball after washing skin.

Toner for problem skin
A few drops of tea tree oil
1/4 c. distilled water
The best tonic for combating pimply skin. Mix the tea tree oil and
water together and store in a sealed bottle. Shake well before using.
Soak a clean cotton ball with the portion and apply to just-cleansed
blemished skin. The tea tree oil is both a natural antiseptic and
antibiotic. Use after washing skin whenever you have blemishes.

Moisturizer
6 T jojoba oil
1 T vit E oil
2 T grated beeswax
1 T pure aloe vera
2 T rose water
8 drops sandalwood essential oil
4 drops rose essential oil
In a small bowl, combine jojoba oil, vitamin E oil and beeswax.Place
bowl in a sallow pan of boiling water and heat, stirring occasionally
until beeswax melts. Remove the bowl and allow to cool to room temperature.
(The mixture will thicken and become cloudy as it cools.) In a blender
or small food processor, combine aloe vera and rose water. Add the
cooled oil and blend on high until the mixture becomes thick and
cloudy (about 2 minutes). Add sandalwood and rose essential oils
and blend mixture into colored glass jar. Apply a small amount (a
little goes a LONG way with this skin softener) to face every evening
in lieu of your usual softener. For very dry skin, use in the am.

More Tips:
Diarrhea
Aid:
Burdock x 2 (purchase these)
Turmeric x 2 (encapsulate this with a gel-cap size 00)
Cornstarch - 1T now and n 6 hours, then drop to 1 Turmeric and 1 burdock
wiith 1t. cornstarch every 6 hours. Usually 3-4 doses will do it.
Drink water with lemon juice throughout
the day, dry toast or fasting is ok too.
Congestion:
Fenugreek 2 x daily to dissolve mucus and open sinuses
ADD:
Many times is from a B-Complex deficiency. Use organic B-complex vitamins
along with chamomile for three weeks before resorting to western chemicals.
Depression:
B-Complex can solve many issues, but you may need to add some Niacin,
B-6 and Tyrosine to make yourself a natural anti-depressant.
Pinworms:
These critters HATE cinnamon, so load up a few capsules and swallow away.
Make yourself some cinnamon toast, rolls, coffee cake, tea, enjoy!
Muscle
Strains/Spasms:
Arnica 30X tablets melted under the tongue 4 times daily will aid muscle
strain. Bruise and injury and accelerate healing time.
Gout:
Celery Seed, Parsley, & Black Cherry extract help dissolve and inhibit
uric acid buildup in joints. A daily regimen will aid those with tendencies
to produce high uric acid levels. Water with lemon juice purifies your
system. Reducing your salt, red meat and fatty intake along with increasing
your exercise will help.
